Dr. Jacob Asare Thompson is an accomplished Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) consultant and lecturer with over twenty years of industry experience. He is deeply committed to developing the next generation of OHS professionals by integrating industry-based insights, hands-on simulations, and cutting-edge research into his teaching, thereby equipping students with the practical competencies required for effective safety leadership in real-world environments.
A results-oriented, visionary, and motivational leader, Dr. Thompson has a strong passion for continuous learning and professional development. He currently teaches Occupational Health and Safety at the master’s level, with core teaching areas that include:
