Metropolitan Research and Education Bureau to Host Study Abroad Seminar in Accra
The Metropolitan Research and Education Bureau (MREB) has announced a Study Abroad Seminar aimed at educating students, parents, and young professionals on international education opportunities in some of the world’s leading study destinations.
The seminar, scheduled for Saturday, 21st February 2026 at 8:00am, will take place at the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel, La-Accra. Participation in the seminar is free, making it accessible to a wide range of individuals seeking information on studying and working abroad.
According to MREB, the seminar will focus on study opportunities in the United States of America, Canada, Australia, and the United Kingdom. Participants will be guided through available academic programs, application processes and requirements, visa procedures, student life abroad, scholarship and funding options, as well as opportunities to work while studying overseas.
The event is designed to provide accurate, practical, and up-to-date information to prospective international students, helping them make informed decisions about their educational futures. MREB officials noted that the seminar forms part of the Bureau’s commitment to supporting quality education, career development, and global exposure for Ghanaian students.
While the seminar itself is free, MREB has indicated that an Application Coaching Workshop and One-on-One Consultation will be available at a fee after the seminar session for participants who require personalized guidance and support with their applications.
